Hungry Caterpillar 1st Birthday Cupcakes

Hungry Caterpillar cupcakes & smash cake.

What a blast it was to create cupcakes for this 1st birthday party. I adore this theme and was so fun to play with the bright colors and all the fun elements that are apart of this theme.

I also created custom toppers for a variety of mini cupcakes. It was so fun to play with all the food items that this Hungry Caterpillar would of enjoyed eating.

I even created a little Hungry Caterpillar for one of the mini cupcakes

Lollipops, a whole cake and a slice too. Even leaves the Caterpillar has enjoyed eating.

These fun "Batman" cupcake toppers were created for a very special birthday for one of our amazing Military Soldiers. His girlfriend was so excited to get these cupcakes for him since he is such a fan of Batman.

These toppers were nestled on top of very delicious ~Almond Joy~ cupcakes.

Campfire Cake

This fun campfire cake was created for a special 1st birthday all about "camping"

I created a yummy cake covered in a rough texture chocolate buttercream. Then used Piroulines as the logs/wood and melted down lifesavers to create the glowing amber fire.

Thanks for stopping by :D

Ombre Ruffle Baby Shower Cake with Booties

I created this adorable baby shower cake for a dear friend's sister. I created this sweet Red Velvet cake filled with pureed raspberry buttercream filling. Frosted in a white chocolate buttercream in a ombre of pinks. I created sweet little ruffles around the entire cake.

The booties were inspired a pair that my dear friend had purchased for her sister's new baby. I used a combination of fondant and gumpaste. I was so happy with how close they looked like the real booties :D
I also added a sweet little coordinating banner with the baby's name.

Portland Trail Blazer Cupcake Toppers

Custom fondant jersey's & the Portland Trail Blazer logos were created special for a mega fan's birthday.

Wedding Cupcakes with a View

One of my favorite venues in our area the "Vue". It has 360 degree views from 6 floors up of our gorgeous Corvallis & Mary's Peak. I had the joy of creating a cupcake display that was framed by this beautiful scenery.

There was an assortment of ~Red Velvet, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, Cookies-n-Cream & Gluten Free Chocolate Cream Cheese~ cupcakes. The happy couple also wanted a classic cutting cake with sugar flowers in their wedding colors of Malibu blue. I really love how the cupcake tower, stands and platter give height and dimension to this display.
The majority of the cupcakes were ~Red Velvet~ so I opted for a tall cupcake tower to hold all of those delicious cupcakes. I added a pretty Malibu blue gumpaste flower to give some color

Some of the cupcakes were adorned with a beautiful Malibu blue jewel to give again a pop of color

Lastly, was the classic cutting cake. Red Velvet cake covered in a delicious White Chocolate buttercream, smooth to perfection then a sweet pearl border added to the base. Also I created 2 Malibu blue gumpaste flowers to pull in the colors and coordinate with the cupcakes.
The Bride & Groom had the most adorable custom cake topper created. Her the OSU(Beaver) and him the UofO(Duck)
Really added a nice personal touch!

Classic "Smiley Face" Cake

What a blast this cake was to create. I was asked to create the
"Classic Smiley Face" for a birthday cake. Now the design itself is very simple, but I wanted to be sure I pulled it off without resembling the smiley face, but actually look like it. I am pretty happy with the result.
The cake was a Chocolate cake with Chocolate filling, covered in a White Chocolate buttercream. I smoothed it to appear as though is fondant, but with the wonderful taste and texture of buttercream. Only the eyes and mouth of the face are fondant.

Thanks for checking out this happy cake!
